- Joe Pleshek - President and CEO
Joe Pleshek is the President and CEO of Terso Solutions. Since joining Terso in 2007 he has overseen rapid growth for the company providing overall strategic direction and financial management for the business as well as managing day-to-day operations. He has worked closely with Terso’s clients in the Healthcare and Life Science markets to drive business value through Terso’s RFID enabled inventory management solutions.Prior to joining Terso, Joe held several sales, marketing and general management positions at Appleton Papers. Most recently he managed an acquisition for Appleton that was based in the United Kingdom. During this time, Joe led the company’s development of a RFID tag converting line which provided a new business revenue stream for the company. Joe also worked at 3M Corporation where he expanded his new business development skills by introducing several new product and service offerings.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout as well as a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas.
- Tony Larsen - Vice President Operations
Tony Larsen joined the Terso Solutions team in 2005 as Manager of Technical Support. In 2006, he was promoted to Director of Operations and in August of 2008 he was again promoted to Vice President of Operations. He has overall responsibility for the Production Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Technical Support and Research & Development teams. Tony brings a broad background of technology and management experience to the technical support team. His past experience includes over 20 years of leadership in the Department of Defense where he worked as an electronics technician specializing in radio frequency communications systems maintenance and later as an IT Technical Specialist.Also prior to joining the Terso team, Tony worked at Appleton Papers as a member of the IT technical support team that supports corporate business systems. He was selected to lead a crucial portion of the company’s $25 million dollar ERP implementation in order to move from an outdated mainframe based application to a JD Edwards ERP solution. He effectively managed a team of software developers and completed this successful ERP implementation project on-time and on budget.
In addition, Tony was selected to be a member of the RFID Professional Certification development team sponsored by CompTIA. Tony has also been very active in the development of RFID labs at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is truly recognized as an expert in the RFID industry. Tony also serves on the Board of Directors at AIM North America.
- Jason Rosemurgy - Global Sales Director
Jason Rosemurgy is the Global Sales Director at Terso Solutions. He is responsible for all new business development, customer satisfaction and partnership initiatives for Terso. Jason has strengthened the management team at Terso through his exceptional leadership abilities, as well as his strength and experience in account management and new business development.Prior to joining Terso in 2009, Jason personally owned and operated a business enterprise, and was responsible for the day-to-day operations and all aspects of profitability with over $42 million in annual revenues. During this time, Jason led the company to exponential increases in both sales volumes and revenues.
Also prior to joining the Terso team, Jason served as a client representative for IBM/Lexmark, and was recognized for numerous sales and leadership initiatives.
Jason earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
- Michelle Scott - Financial Controller
Michelle Scott is the Financial Controller for Terso Solutions. Her role is hands-on with the emphasis in providing production support and an overall financial understanding when making decisions within the organization. She has brought a wealth of knowledge centered on standard cost which will be critical to our future as well as interpreting the financial data and recommending changes to improve systems and processes.Prior to joining Terso, Michelle was the Cost Accountant for Thermo Fisher Scientific where she focused on inventory accuracy and process improvements. Most recently, Michelle worked with Promega, our parent organization, as a Senior International Accountant focused on the overseas manufacturing branches in Shanghai and Korea as well as the German branch of Terso.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Business as well as her Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Dubuque.
- Mark Sehmer - Software Product Manager
Mark Sehmer is the Software Product Manager for Terso Solutions. Mark is responsible for all aspects of Information Services including software development and infrastructure. He has brought several key innovations to the business including agile software development and virtualization technologies. As the Information Services Manager and a key technology innovator, Mark provides value for customers by applying over 15 years of experience to build enterprise class solutions.Previous to joining Terso, Mark worked with Banta and Appleton Papers to build enterprise messaging systems and lead integration projects after mergers or acquisitions. His responsibilities included several disciplines including virtualization, enterprise messaging, internet services, enterprise storage, open systems datacenter practices, security and disaster recovery. Mark has a proven track record of successfully leading large capital project teams to improve corporate efficiencies and capabilities.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
