Over the past 10 years at Terso Solutions, I have seen tremendous growth in the adoption of IoT technologies to help organizations achieve real-time visibility and automation. Over the past ten years, I have seen the incredible growth and adoption of technology in the healthcare sector. I continue to be amazed at the new and innovative ways RFID and sensor technology is being used to manage critical assets in the hospital. With this shift in the use of technology, we have also noticed the way in which healthcare is delivered and managed is in the midst of a significant transformation. The industry continues to move toward a consumer-centric, value-based care delivery model. This delivery model depends heavily upon digitalization and access to better and more timely information. That being said, it is more important than ever that healthcare organizations possess operational intelligence and situational awareness to improve care delivery and operations.
