In January 2018, Terso opened the doors to our new manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The move from our previous 6,000 square foot facility to the new 30,000 square foot facility considerably increases Terso's manufacturing capacity and plays a fundamental role in the company's overall global manufacturing capabilities.

With IoT Day happening on April 9, I have been thinking about the many extraordinary ways the Internet of Things has played a role at Terso Solutions, more specifically in healthcare and life science. Over the past 10 years at Terso Solutions, I have seen tremendous growth in the adoption of IoT technologies to help organizations achieve real-time visibility and automation. At Terso Solutions, we focus on the development and adoption of RFID technologies in healthcare and life science, and we continue to see these markets leverage digital technologies to transform into operationally intelligent enterprises. From the early adoption of RFID technology in retail, to the continuous growth in sectors like healthcare, government, and manufacturing we are seeing a plethora of IoT technology advances that solve big problems.

Thoughts on LogiMed 2018: Medical Device Supply Chain Optimization

On March 6th and 7th I had the pleasure of attending the Logimed 2018 conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Logimed is a networking and learning forum focused on the unique challenges of medical device supply chains. This year, over 200 supply chain executives and operators from medical device companies large and small attended the event. Terso has been a sponsor of LogiMed US for the past 4 years, providing support to medical device companies and stakeholders. The Logimed forum enables learning and collaboration through presentations, panels, interactive round tables, and thoughtful discussions during networking events.
